• The solar generates a total of 24 kilowatts. The system is owned. Half (the west side) was installed in 2008, the east side in 2021. They are SunPower panels installed by Cobalt Power of Mountain View. The system generates about 35,000 kWH a year, 85-95% of our typical usage including the winery cellar.
• The vineyard is about 550 plants on half an acre. There are about 435 Cabernet Sauvignon vines, half clone 337, half clone 04, as well as 75 Cab Franc and 40 Merlot. The vineyard is maintained organically by Coastal Range Vineyards of Scotts Valley. Harvest usually ranges from late September to late October. The 2025 total yield was 3000 pounds, typically the yields were 2,000-2500 pounds.
